The lamp is brass under the original black paint, lenses intact, original burner intact including a glass chimney, no damage, other than age related wear to the paint. Some collectors prefer to keep an item like this in original condition, or of course it could be repainted or stripped back to brass. A superior condition, very hard to find as such. Late c1800’s.
