Classic Australiana, c1950's, lovely condition, with a few age related marks. Featuring a large carved kangaroo in an aboriginal design, made from a single piece of mulga wood. The stand features a beautifully decorated turned stem, using various native timbers, including mulga wood, & Silky Oak. A great example of the 1950's mulga wood pieces, that were very popular at the time.   Dimensions: 71cm high, 50cm deep, 28cm wide, 5kg.
