WWII British Army
field equipment. This
Pattern 1937 Mk VII
canteen is a quintessential piece for any Commonwealth militaria collection.
The original
khaki wool felt cover
remains tightly stitched and undisturbed. As a policy of preservation, the cover has not been removed, protecting the internal
blue enamel-coated steel
body and any potential maker's marks from oxidation.
Period Features:
Complete with its original
cork stopper
and metal neck wire. The felt shows honest age-toning and minor "moth nips," providing the authentic look and feel sought by collectors and museum exhibitors alike.
