Product Description
A beautiful piece of early 20th-century Australiana folk art. This antique clothes brush features a finely detailed pokerwork (pyrography) and hand-painted design depicting a koala nestled among eucalyptus gum leaves. Crafted on a traditional hoop pine handle, the item retains its original, robust natural horsehair bristles.
Condition:
Overall good vintage condition with strong color retention. Note minor, honest age-related wear, including slight wear to one of the koala's eyes, which does not detract from the exceptional detail and charm of the burning work.
