Product Description
Genuine Factory-Original Classic Holden Rear Interior Ashtray
Features the iconic early-style stamped "lion and stone" logo on a ribbed chrome flip lid. This is a genuine steel-bumper survivor piece, not a modern plastic reproduction.
Perfect for a historic restoration, custom project, or period-correct replacement piece.
Model Compatibility & Placement:
Suits classic Holden models from the 1962–1968 era, including the EJ, EH, HD, and HR series. This specific flush-mounting bezel unit is designed specifically for rear passengers, mounting directly into the back panel of the front bucket seats or into the rear face of the center console housing on luxury model variants (such as the Premier or Special).
Condition Report:
  • Good used condition overall with strong, clean structural lines.
  • Complete unit with the interior cigarette rest tray and rear mounting casing fully intact.
  • Mechanically sound flip lid that opens, snaps, and functions exactly as it should.
  • Uncleaned and unrestored garage find. The chrome shows minor age-appropriate patina, light pitting, and surface film typical of an authentic 60-year-old part. It will come up beautifully with a light polish.
Please check the pictures carefully and confirm compatibility with your specific interior setup before purchasing.
